STALGIC: THE BETTER WAY HOME

Stalgic is an emo punk band from Green Bay, Wisconsin. This project is intended to be a pitch to Record Labels, including a new logo, 9-song album, music video and merch designs, prior to releasing these to the public.

NEW LOGO

The first part of the project was a new logo, not just for the album, but for the band as a whole. They wanted to use a Heron, which is featured in the photo they wanted to use for the album art. They also felt it fit with the message and image they want to convey as a band.

ALBUM ARTWORK

Using the photos and rough ideas they provided, I created the initial art that would be used for digital uploads or a basic CD sleeve.

ALBUM PACKAGING (CONCEPTUAL)

The initial idea for the album packaging was a conceptual booklet that had four panels folding out from a central panel that would contain the CD. This format really allowed for some deeper level storytelling, before you even get to listen to the album.

FINAL CD PACKAGING

Since the four-fold booklet proved too expensive to actually get produced, Stalgic opted for a more straightforward tri-fold CD case.

MERCH

Along with the logo, album art, and various CD packaging designs, I also created a few different merch designs.

POSTCARD

This would give Record Labels some basic statistics, as well as a link and password to their brand new video, prior to release to the public.
