SEE MUSIC DIFFERENTLY

Our aim was to develop a unique, attention-grabbing visual language that Snapchat could stand on in the music industry. The phrase “See Music Differently” refers to the ways Snapchat is using the magic of AR to enhance live music events.

Featuring a 3D map and wayfinding system to guide users to stages, food, and even their friends, Snapchat’s AR Compass was scaled to 16 global festivals in 2023.

I designed and animated the "See Music Differently" wordmark, and worked with the project's Art Director to create several variations of each word for this bumper. The whole identity was inspired by lo-fi, 90s MTV interstitials, with added chrome object accents.
